Bio
Omar Elshamy serves as a Team Lead within our Managed Services Division and has been with the company since June 2023. Starting as an Open Source Analysts, Omar has consistently advanced within in Red5 transitioning from the role of Targeter to my current position in April 2026. He leads a team of analysts and assists in managing projects that provide threat intelligence to Fortune 500 clientele.
Prior to Red5 Omar previously worked in the education industry, assisting students at a college in Northern Virginia.
Omar graduated from George Mason University with a Master of Arts in International Security, a Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Politics, and a Minor in Legal Studies.
